Today, I am sending you a copy of a Newsletter from my 27 year old son - John. Many of you are familiar with him for I have used some of his messages in the past as one of my Daily Bible Messages to send out.
John just graduated from Heartland School of Ministry with a diploma in Missions and Evangelism. Some of you know John's story in that I read the Bible to him for hours when he was a baby...he got saved at 2/1-2 years old...he was baptized in the Holy Spirit at the age of 4 with the evidence of speaking in tongues...he preached his first sermon on the streets of Dallas when he was 3 and 5 people got saved...and he preached with my husband Carl and I on the streets of Dallas in our street ministry for 14 years of his life.
Irregardless of the fact that John is my son, I must say that this young man can preach! Let me give you an example of what I am saying here so that you will not think that it is just "Mom" trying to exalt her own son.
Right before graduation, in chapel, the second year students were asked to come to the microphone and speak into the lives of the first year students. When it was John's turn, he opened his Bible and read under a powerful anointing the Apostle Paul's final charge to Timothy - starting at 2 Timothy 3:16 and finishing at 2 Timothy 4:5 (how appropriate, if I may say so myself). He closed his Bible and then began to pray and speak prophetically over the students.
I was not there to experience this, but when John told me later over the phone what happened, I was laughing and crying at the same time because I could feel the anointing so strong on him as he simply related the happenings. ( I heard reports from staff members and students alike who verified the account.)
Members of the faculty and staff along with the students began to shout and applaud because they could feel the anointing rolling off of John's words. John was shouting in the microphone. With the fire of God all over him, he called these students to stand up boldly in these last days - not backing down...not watering down the Word for anyone...and not fearing the face of man - and declare - "Thus saith the Word of God..."
Throughout his life, whether he preached on the streets of Dallas or in several of the local churches, it has always been evident to all that John has been "separated unto the gospel of God" from his mother's womb. This young man has definitely been called to the five-fold calling of EVANGELIST. And he also has a mighty command of the Scriptures - which explains the FIRE behind his preaching! He KNOWS his Bible and can rightly divide the Word of Truth!
I felt led of the Lord to send out a copy of his Newsletter to you today. I am asking that you would pray as you read it, and then seriously consider helping John - either with a one-time gift or possibly becoming a regular financial supporter.
Right now, he does not have a 501-C3 non-profit status. However, please do not allow that to stop you from blessing him with your gifts or support. Consider the mission and the hand of God that is upon his life - driving him at this point. You will be blessed if you give to help him fulfill his calling.
Also, at this time, I would like to address all of the Pastors on my list. John will be a GREAT, GREAT BLESSING to your church. Why not invite him to come and preach? He can come and serve you and your church and take you to the next level in evangelism by mobilizing your people to reach your neighborhood for Jesus. Just imagine the church growth that you will experience as a result!
With great pride - but yet with utmost humility - knowing that Jesus gets all of the glory for all that John has done, is doing, and will accomplish for the glory of God - I present to you my son's Newsletter for ministry.
Thank you ahead of time for your expressions of love and generosity shown toward John and the work of the Lord.
P.S. For all those who choose to send John a gift via Paypal, simply send your financial gift under my account - connie@walkingintruth.org - and designate it as a gift for John. We will be sure to place it in his bank account for his upcoming missions' trips.
