It's Not The Messenger But The Message That is Important

"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel" (Galatians 1:6).

Dr. Alan Cole once said - "The outward person of the messenger does not validate his message; rather, the nature of the message validates the messenger."

The Apostle Paul was amazed that the Galatians believers were "so soon removed" from the Gospel of God's undeserved grace unto another one that was perverted. Initially, they cordially embraced the Gospel of Christ. They manifested the tenderest attachment to Jesus but through the influence of false teachers and seducers, they allowed their passions to change...their hearts to be corrupted...and their affections to become alienated. They fell victim to a perversion of the true Gospel. They were quickly carried away with the error of the wicked.

Some questions you need to ask yourself today are - Who am I listening to? Am I sitting at the feet of a seducer? Am I more concerned about the messenger than the message that he brings? Does the message line up with the Word of God? Am I overlooking the twisting of the Scriptures in the name of "Love"?

"Beware of False Prophets" and "Perverted Teachings."

The Galatians were "so soon removed" from the true Gospel. You can be, too - if you are not watchful!
