I SAY UNTO THEE, ARISE!
Many reading this message for
today are facing impossibilities. Are you one of them?
The devil has told you that there is no hope for your situation.
He has told you that you or your loved one will never be healed;
-
your children will never be
saved or that prodigal will never come back to the Lord;
-
you will never be delivered
from that bondage in your life - you will always be this way;
-
you will never find another
good job, get out of debt, or enjoy prosperity;
-
that relationship that is
shattered will never be reconciled;
-
those dreams that are lost
will never be restored;
-
your circumstances will never,
ever change.
Today, we would like to
briefly look at the account of a man in the Bible who faced the same lies
of the devil that you are facing at this moment. Jairus, the ruler of the
synagogue, just received word from home that his daughter, who was very
ill, was now dead!
Mark 5:35 - The people around him asked him - "...why troublest thou the
Master any further?"
Perhaps you have had family or friends say the same to you. You may have
had others tell you to "Give Up," "Stop praying," "It's Over," "Face the
facts," "Go on with your life," "Things will never change," or "Don't
worry yourself about this situation any more."
Thank God that Jesus was present when these words came forth to Jairus
that day. What did the Son of God say to him? Did He join in with the
others in telling him to "Give Up"?
Mark 5:36 - No, on the contrary, Jesus told Jairus the total opposite of
what the others were saying. He told him to - "Be not afraid, only
believe."
But wait a minute, Jesus! You heard the report. The daughter is dead! It's
over! She is gone! All hope is lost! Things can't get any worse than this!
Then we read about how Jesus kept moving in the direction of Jairus'
Miracle. How can this be? Why would He keep walking toward Jairus' house?
Did He not hear the report that came forth about this daughter?
Mark 5:39 - At the house, Jesus spoke to the mourners and said - "...the
damsel is not dead, but sleepeth." The others laughed Him to scorn.
Perhaps others have laughed you to scorn because you choose to believe God
in the face of insurmountable odds. Perhaps others have told you that
you are crazy or have lost your mind because you choose to see things
through the eyes of the Immortal God rather than mortal man. Others may
have ridiculed you because you keep moving in the direction of a Miracle
even when it seems like the craziest way to go.
The fact of the matter is - Jairus had a Word from God telling him to "Be
Not Afraid, Only Believe."
Has God told you the same? Has He given you a promise to hold onto even in
the midst of the death of your Vision, Miracle, or Dream?
Even if people laugh you to scorn, talk behind your back, or ridicule you;
keep on moving in the direction of your Miracle. The truth is - Jesus is
moving alongside of you to perform His Word. If He gave you the promise,
you can be certain that He will watch over it to perform it.
Mark 5:41 - When Jesus came to the daughter, He took her by the hand and
spoke His Word - "Damsel, I say unto thee, arise." In due time, Jesus will
take your impossibility by the hand and speak His Word to it, and it too
will arise from the dead.
He will take your sick body or the body of your loved one;
-
your unsaved loved one needing
deliverance;
-
your financial
situation, ministry, church, relationships, marriage, family, future,
etc.;
-
and He will speak "arise" unto
them.
Whenever He does - that, which
was once dead, will immediately come to life, bringing great astonishment
to all. Just you wait and see!
"Arise!" "Arise!" "Arise!" Can you hear the Lord Jesus speaking His Word
to your impossibilities?
"Be not afraid, only believe." Just as it happened for Jairus, it will
happen for you. You will get the answer to your prayer. You will receive
your Miracle. You will not be denied.
The Lord Jesus speaks "Arise" to you and yours for He and He alone is the
Resurrection and the Life. He has all power in heaven and in earth to
quicken any person or situation and bring life where there once was death.
Revelation 1:18 - He has
declared - "I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for
evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."
Just remember what He told Jairus - "Be not afraid, only believe."
It shall be done even as He said!
May God Bless His Word.
