YOUR HELP IS JUST
A SHOUT AWAY

Are you -
...feeling downtrodden
...subject to oppression and abuse of some sort
...exposed to injustice and wrong from others
...needing help and deliverance from trouble
...depressed in mind and circumstances
Then today's message is for you.
God is sending His Word to heal you and deliver you from all your destructions.

In Psalm 72:12-13, we read - "For He shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy."

Within this portion of Scripture, we see such a wonderful and comforting picture of God in relation to His people who are in need.

In this particular Promise from the Word of God, there are three things that He is said to do for three types of people.

The Almighty is said to "deliver," "spare," and "save" all those who are "needy," "poor," and without an helper - "him that hath no helper."

What exactly does this entail?

The "needy" include the poor, the sufferer, the downtrodden, and the oppressed. They are those who are subject to oppression and abuse; those needing help and deliverance from some sort of trouble.

The "poor" are the afflicted, the humble and lowly, and the wretched. They are those who are poor, weak, and depressed in mind and circumstances. They also are those who are said to be dangling by a thread, commonly overlooked, and exposed to oppression and wrong.

"Him that hath no helper" comprise all those who are exposed to injustice and wrong from others as well as those who have no support and protector.

If you feel that you fit into one of these three categories of people, what does the Bible tell us that God will do for you?

First of all, it says that He will "deliver" you. This means that He will rescue, save, recover, deliver from enemies, and deliver from sin and guilt.

Do you need -
...to be rescued today from your enemies
...to recover all that the enemy stole from you
...deliverance from some bondage in your life or a besetting sin?
Then Jesus will surely "deliver" you.

He will "spare" you. He will look upon you with compassion, regard your situation and circumstances, and show mercy and favor toward you.

He will "save" you. This means that He will guard you and be your Protector and Friend.

All that is required of us is that we cry out.

In Psalm 72:12, the Psalmist said - "...when he crieth..." This word means to cry aloud for help or shout. We must make our petition known before the Lord, our "Deliverer."
When we do, we will find that - "He shall deliver," "He shall spare," and "He shall save."

This is a Promise from God to us today. We can surely count on it.

Numbers 23:19 assures us that - "God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?"

Help is available today.
It's only a shout away.
Cry aloud for help.
God will hear you and give you the Victory.

May God Bless His Word.
