Don't Just Sit There - Get Mad At The Devil!
You don't have to put up with one more second
of the devil's harassment.
The Lord Jesus has already defeated him on Calvary's Cross.
As long as you are positioned in Jesus today, you can tread and trample on
Satan's head.
It's time to rise up in holy indignation and take back all that the enemy
has stolen from you, your family, and your church.
It's time like never before to rise up as members of the Militant Army of
God and take a stand against the enemy and his attacks and wiles, set
against us and our families. We, as the Body of Christ, do not have to be
pushed around, oppressed, harassed, or intimidated by the devil any
longer.
Isaiah 63:2 speaks of the Lord Jesus - "Wherefore art Thou red
in Thine apparel, and thy garments like Him that treaded in the winefat?"
Here we have a depiction of an illustrious hero, returning in great
triumph from a bloody battle. The people inquire as to who this Mighty
Warrior is and the purpose for his garments being stained with blood. He
is likened unto one who was engaged in the hard labor of treading the
grapes underfoot in the wine-press.
Isaiah 63:1 - This is a perfect illustration of Jesus,
triumphantly returning from Calvary's victory where He shed His Life's
Blood and purchased our salvation, making Him "mighty to save."
Because He tread in the "winefat" - the battle for the souls of men
- and won, we, who are found in Him, in turn, are enabled through His
mighty power, to tread on any and all enemies which rise up against us. We
never need to experience one moment of defeat ever again.
We are the Spiritual "Israel" to which Deuteronomy 33:29 refers -
"Happy art thou, O Israel..."
We are the "people saved by the Lord" Who is the "shield" of
our "help" and the "sword" of our "excellency."
Through His Mighty Unconquerable Sword - the Word of God - we know
complete victory over all spiritual foes.
Because we trust in God, we triumph in Him.
We are directed by His wisdom, strengthened by His power, and made safe
and victorious through His promises.
-
Psalm 44:5 - We act under His
authority and by His help - "Through Thee will we push down our enemies:
through Thy name..."
-
Psalm 60:12 ; Psalm 108:13 - We are
a people who have placed all of our hope and confidence in the Lord.
Resultantly, we do victoriously - "Through God we shall do valiantly..."
We have Jesus on our side.
Therefore, we -
...make, gain, or gather strength for the battle
...are bold, courageous, and victorious
...do great and valiant acts and achieve victory.
Amidst the most fearful dangers, we are safe.
-
Isaiah 14:25 - At times, we may feel
as though we are under the heavy "burden" and "yoke" of the "Assyrian."
-
Isaiah 26:6 - We may feel as though
we are the despised, overcome, oppressed, or "poor."
But, Zechariah 10:5 calls us the "mighty
men" who are victorious over our enemies.
We are -
...men of valor and vigor
...strong because God strengthens us
...empowered because He empowers us.
Luke 10:19 promises us that we have "power" "over all the power of the
enemy" and "nothing" can ever "hurt" us.
Who are these enemies with whom we are in conflict?
-
Deuteronomy 33:29 refers to them as
"liars."
-
Psalm 44:5 describes them as those
who "rise up against us."
-
Psalm 91:13 depicts them as being
very fierce, violent, and dangerous like the "lion," "adder," "young
lion," and "dragon."
-
Isaiah 10:6 refers to them as
hypocrites - "an hypocritical nation" - who are profane and not as good as
they profess to be.
-
Isaiah 14:25 labels them as the
"Assyrian" or the Mighty Oppressor.
-
Isaiah 26:5-6 imply that they are
the proud ones.
-
Zechariah 10:5 refers to them as the
"riders on horses" who are deadset on drawing away every believer from
their duty to God.
-
And lastly, Luke 10:19 calls them
"serpents" and "scorpions," depicting their bitter, malicious, and crafty
ways.
What do the Scriptures promise will be the
outcome of our spiritual enemies and foes?
-
Deuteronomy 33:29 assures us that
they will all be found to be "liars" while we "tread upon their high
places." They will cringe in fear and be forced to submit unto us.
-
Psalm 44:5 says that we "push down
our enemies" and "tread them under." We will conquer and subdue them. As
they are forced to lie prostrate before us in total defeat, we will walk
all over them.
-
Both Psalm 60:12 and Psalm 108:13
guarantee that we will "tread down our enemies."
-
Psalm 91:13 - As fierce as the
"lion," "adder," "young lion," and "dragon" may be, we will "tread upon"
them and "trample" them under our feet.
-
Isaiah 10:6 - What will become of
our enemies? They will become as contemptible as the dirt under our feet.
We will "tread them down like the mire of the streets."
-
Isaiah 14:25 - The proud
"Assyrian's" power of oppression over us will be broken and crushed.
-
Isaiah 26:6 - God will reduce the
proud by causing them to be "tread...down" by the "poor" and "needy" -
"The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of
the needy."
-
Zechariah 10:5 assures us that the
"riders on horses shall be confounded" and reduced to ashes or dirt "in
the battle."
At this time, are you encountering "liars" and
hypocrites who are rising up against you?
Do you feel as though you are in the midst of "lions," "adders,"
"dragons," "serpents," and "scorpions"?
Do you have a proud and oppressive "Assyrian," constantly breathing down
your neck, harassing you and throwing you into distress and fear?
What about those "riders on horses" who are deadset on stomping you to the
ground?
God has promised you throughout the Scriptures that because He had
"treaded in the winefat" and won the victory over all of our enemies on
Calvary's Cross, we, in turn, are enabled through His grace and power to
tread, trample, and stomp down every and all enemies who would dare to
challenge us.
Stop crying and feeling sorry for yourself!
It's not a time to be a wimp!
It's time for war!
Get your armor on and go to battle this day!
Jesus is on your side and will empower you to "tread" and trample down
your enemies.
And don't you stop until you have recovered all that the enemy stole from
you!
"Through God," you're not going to see that "Assyrian" and those "riders
on horses" again.
They are going to be as the "mire of the streets."
They will be where they belong - under your feet!!!
May God Bless His Word.
