I have three requests that I am asking
all of you - if you will be so kind - to help me in taking
before the Throne of Grace.
1. Please pray for my family and I. My son John's car
was sabotaged the other night. During the early morning hours,
someone broke into the hood of the car and stole the entire
distributor.
2. My Mother is presently in the Intensive Care Unit.
She was rushed to the hospital this morning from the Nursing
Home because she was vomiting and her blood sugars( she suffers
with diabetes) were at 600(very high). Thank God at this moment
her sugars are down to 161 but she is still in the ICU with
congestive heart failure, fluid on the lungs, and a high white
blood cell count. My Mom is 82 years old and is in need of
salvation. Please pray that she will have an encounter with the
Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, healed, and delivered.
3. Lastly, I ask for your continued prayers for the
wayward Pastor who is presently incarcerated and whom I have
mentioned over the last few months. The other day while in jail
he was jumped from behind by several men(He did nothing to
provoke this violence.) They hit him in the head from behind,
knocking him down to the ground. Then they proceeded to beat him
in the face - blinding his left eye. Several years ago, he had a
lens implant put in his left eye which restored sight to this
eye. But through the beatings from these men, the lens has moved
- blinding the eye once again.
One of the men tried to stab this Brother in the lungs
with a ball point pen refill(apparently this is the new
technique of killing in the jails today) but - thanks be to God
- this Brother just happened to have a lock in his pocket which
blocked the blow to his lungs. God was certainly looking after
him in this respect.
As he walked back to his cell - bleeding profusely from
the head, the guards said and did nothing. Apparently, they are
in cahoots with certain of the prisoners.
This Brother is fearing for his life for one of the men
told him that the next time they will do him in.
Please, please pray for this man and his family. His
wife does not know who to turn to here(of course she has the
Lord) for her husband is afraid to have her say anything to any
authorities for fear of any further repercussion. They need
God's Mighty Intervention.
Please continue to pray for this wayward Brother that he
will turn to Jesus with all of his heart and that the Lord will
have His way here in this vicious battle against Satan for his
soul and life.
May God demonstrate His Mighty Power to this Brother and
restore him to greater heights in Him than ever before.
In praying, let us never forget the words of our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ as recorded in Matthew
11:12 - "And
from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of
heaven suffereth violence, and the violent taketh it by force."
Let's go up into the high
places and tear the devil's kingdom down.
