AWESOME PRAISE REPORT FROM CONNIE Remember the Backslidden Pentecostal Preacher that I asked all of you to pray for months ago? For those of you who are not familiar with what I am talking about - let me tell you that this Brother backslid on God due to several adverse circumstances happening in his life. To make a long story short, he ended up in jail and has served now for almost four months - awaiting his trial.
After being in jail for close to
two month's time, he came back to the Lord in true and
sincere repentance. We bought him a Bible which he began
to read and study.
But even though the Lord did such
a work in his heart and was restoring him, he still
battled depression constantly. He just didn't see how he
could make it another day in that place.
While I was away from the
computer for a month and a half, I felt led of the Lord
to send him my messages. God told me to "pump the
Word" into his heart and mind. My family and I
continued to correspond with him through the mail on a
daily basis.
Through His powerful Word, God
started to transform this Brother into a Mighty Man of
God.
He started hungering after the
Lord and His Word. As of late, he wrote his wife and
told her that he is now reading the Bible from noon
until midnight every day. That is 12 hours a day!
Isn't that amazing! God is at
work in this Brother's life. It is so awesome to behold!
My family and I just sent him a
Rainbow Study Bible this past week and
already he has several Scriptures memorized from it.
What is also absolutely amazing
is that he has won such Divine Favor with all the guards
and other inmates. Someone made him a makeshift desk and
gave him a lamp for it so that he could study and write
letters easily. Isn't that just like Jesus? It sounds
like the Lord has set up a Prophet's chamber for him
right in the jail cell. Praise Jesus!
He has been sharing my messages
with the other inmates and resultantly, two men have
written to me asking to be placed on my mailing list.
One has requested - if at all possible - for us to send
him a Bible. Glory to God!
With Thanksgiving right around
the corner, I have a request for all of you.
For the past two weeks, the Lord
has been speaking to me about sharing this Brother's
name and address with you so that you could send him a
note of encouragement. This will be his first
Thanksgiving away from his family whom he dearly misses
and loves. He cries just thinking about them. Please
help me flood his mailbox with letters filled with
messages straight from heaven and filled with the Love
of Jesus. Will you help me do that?
What better way to express your
Thanksgiving to Jesus for all that He has been and done
for you and your family over this past year than to
bless someone less fortunate?
All that I am asking you to do is
to send him a letter telling him that you are
praying for him and believing for a Miracle from God to
happen in his situation. If the Lord should
give you a Scripture or a testimony of His
Miracle-Working Power that will stir up his Faith,
that would be great! Just let the Love of Jesus just
ooze out of you. And I know that that won't be difficult
for you - for you are some of the finest people in the
whole wide world.

When you send your letter, be
sure that it is sent in a white envelope
and that you write your return address on the
top, left hand corner of the envelope. You must
write your full name and entire address.
If you fail to do so, your letter will never reach him
but be sent back to you. You must realize that this is a
jail and the guards have to scrutinize all the mail that
comes in for these inmates. You cannot use any
nicknames, abbreviations, or shortened versions of your
name. That is not acceptable.
Do not send any cards or use any
kind of stationary. Just simply write your letter
using white sheets of paper. If you do so, your
letter will be sure to get to Richard.
Also, do not send
him any Bibles or books. They can only be sent a certain
way in order to be acceptable.
Lastly, if you will please
mention in your letter that you are on Connie
Giordano's mailing list to receive her Daily Bible
Messages via the Internet - so that he will
know how you got his address.
I want this to be a Great
Surprise for him from Jesus. Please don't lay this
letter aside and forget. Respond quickly.
Let's shower him with our expressions of God's Wonderful
Love.
Also, just imagine what kind of
message this will be to the guards, workers, and other
inmates. What are they going to think when countless
people from all over the world express
such unconditional love for someone they never met or
had seen? Didn't the Lord Jesus say that the world will
know that we are His disciples by our love one for
another? Let's show the world that we have something
that they are looking for in all of the wrong places and
need so desperately - the Love of Jesus.
Lastly, if I may but ask you to
pray about sending an offering to help me in ministering
to these inmates with Bibles and materials and to cover
other ministry needs at this time. The Lord is expanding
our borders. We look for the day when the door will
swing open for us to actually minister in this jail
facility to all 500 of the inmates.

P.S. Ever since I have gotten
back On-line, I have been having a terrible time trying
to get back on all of my MSN groups. I have been going
back and forth with the people of MSN with no results as
of yet. It has been quite frustrating to say the least.
