Several
have
asked
about
Richard
Roberts
(no
relation
to
Oral
Roberts
the
renowned
evangelist)
-
the
incarcerated
brother-in-Christ
- whom
we
have
been
praying
for
for
the
past
two
years.
Recently,
he
had
been
sentenced
to 5
years
in a
Federal
prison
here
in
Texas
for
drug
and
gun
charges.
Actually,
he
had
the
guns
for
most
of
his
life
because
he
was
a
great
sportsman
and
hunter.
But his
court-appointed
lawyer
did
not
really
fight
this
issue
in
court,
so the
judge
sentenced
him
accordingly.
For
those
of
you
who
are
new
to
my
mailing
list,
we
had
been
praying
for
Richard
for
the
longest
time.
He
was
a
Pastor
at
one
time.
But
due
to
many
disappointments
and
adverse
circumstances
which
he
could
not
understand,
he
turned
his
back
on
God
and fell
back
into
his
old
lifestyle
of
sin.
About
a
year
and
a
half
ago,
he
was
arrested for
drugs. After
floating
from
one
county
jail
to
the
next,
he
was
finally
sentenced.

you

Ask
Jesus
how
He
would
have
you
to
be a
blessing
to
this
Brother-in-Christ.
Most
importantly
-
keep
him
on
your
Prayer
List.
The
last
I
heard
he
was
sick
with
the
flu
and
in
with
8
other
men
who
all
kept
different
schedules.
It
was
very
hard
for
him
to
have
any
quiet
time
with
the
Lord.
Thank
you
for
allowing
me
to
share
this
burden
with
you.
God
Bless.
