Now is the time to send in your prayer requests for Wednesday's Prayer Time. God is moving by His Spirit. Why not jump into His "river" and get all that you need from Him?

Send your prayer requests to - prayerrequests@walkingintruth.org

Here are two Praise Reports that came in following our Prayer time -

Dear Connie,
I sent a prayer request sometime ago concerning my
wedding (both trad. 24th & church 31st of March 2007)
in which I asked for financial favour, fair weather,
God to be honoured, journey merices for those that
will come etc.
I want to report that the Lord who is able to do all
things more than I can even imagine, the One who is,
who was & who is to come, the faithful God who keeps
His promises to those that are His, answered all my
request to His own glory.
As if that was not enough, He added another year to my
life on April 15, 2007.
Pls you all should join me in giving thanks, honour,
glory, adoration, praises to Him alone who is able to
do all these.
Jesus is Lord indeed!!!

The last time I send my prayer request, it was about the Youths in my community as our fellowship was not working out to well, thanks for your prayer since then our Youth has been in full force till to date.

As I was preparing to write this e-mail, I felt prompted of the Holy Spirit to call all of us to specific prayer for discernment tomorrow. This does not mean that you should not send in your special requests. But I felt led of the Lord to ask all of you to pray specifically tomorrow for discerning of spirits.

In these Last Days, we are finding more and more deceivers - impersonating as Christians. Satan would like to ensnare us - whether in our ministry, business, relationships, families , etc. - in some way or fashion by people who are not sincere or "real." Sometimes the deception is very hard to detect. Before we know it, we have been trapped or emotionally tied. Then the tearing away process is very painful and can be "ugly" at times. Much hurt and heartache results.

Tomorrow, let's pray specifically for each other that God will "open our eyes" concerning any relationships in which we are involved. There are some people who are sent by Satan to distract us from God's Perfect Will. As long as they are in our lives, we will never go further in the Lord or find His purpose for our lives. There are others who are "leeches" - sent by the devil to "wear us out" or "spoil our souls." You know who they are - the ones who know exactly what to say or do to get you in the flesh - if you are not careful. When you leave their presence, you feel as though you have just gone through a battle or had your very life sucked out of you. Then there are those who see no future for you - except as their doormat. They are positive about themselves, but when it comes to your life, they make sure that they never encourage you - only discourage you every chance they can find.

The truth of the matter is - not every one who says he is a Christian is one! Not every one who shouts - "Hallelujah!" or "Praise the Lord!" - is walking holy before Jesus. Not everyone who  carries a Bible is emptied of selfishness and pride.

We need the "discerning of spirits" - a gift from the Holy Spirit - which will enable us to discern who is at work. Is it God or Satan?

Not only do we need this gift in operation in relationships - but also in opportunities that come our way. Not every job opportunity or "open door" is from the Lord. Satan can trick us if we are not careful.

What does the Bible say in Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." The key phrase in these verses is "... In all thy ways acknowledge Him..." This is where many go wrong. They do not stop to ask the Lord what He thinks about the move, opportunity, or relationship. They just go forward - because that is what they really want to do.

It only makes good sense to "acknowledge" the One Who knows and reads the hearts of all men and has "all things naked and opened" before Him - before stepping out in a certain direction or making a decision.

Let's designate tomorrow as a day when we will cry out to God to "enlighten our hearts and minds." Let's give Him full reign to "search" our lives and see if we have given place to deception in any way, shape, or form.

Don't forget - Send in all of your requests to - prayerrequests@walkingintruth.org - and be sure to give God all of the Praise at - answerstoprayer@walkingintruth.org .

I am excited about tomorrow. I believe Jesus is going to visit us with His power and strength.

Have a BLESSED DAY in Him.
