In Proverbs 31:18, we read about a woman who knew how to make her business turn to a good account by her prudent management. The verse says - "She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night."
This woman was diligent in her work. She wasn't one who toiled all night and caught nothing. She knew that in all her labor there was profit. She wasn't afraid of strenuous work. Her mind was in all that she did. She was not slothful in her business, nor was she idle when the night fell. She was fully aware that she was making progress. She was glowing in spirit. All that she did, she did with her whole heart. All that she did had a value and was beneficial. She realized that what she did mattered.
Resultantly, she extended the day so that there was a new level of productivity and achievement. She was willing to work until the job was finished. She was a hard worker who did not expect good things to come to her simply because she was a good person but because she worked for them and went after them.
Let's just take a moment to examine the particular "spirit" or attitude of this woman and also to evaluate if we are personally going after God and the things of God with the same fervor and fire. Once again, let's examine some of the traits of this woman -
  • She was diligent in her work.
  • She wasn't afraid of strenuous work.
  • Her mind was in all that she did.
  • She wasn't slothful or idle.
  • She was fully aware that she was making progress.
  • She was "on fire."
  • She did her work with a whole heart.
  • She extended the day when necessary to get the job done.
  • All that she did had value and was beneficial.
  • She bore the "fruit" of her labor.
Now, ask yourself if you have been going after God over the past week, month, or year in the same manner that this woman did her business. Have you been diligent in seeking after Him in Bible Study and prayer? How about in evangelizing the lost? What kind of progress do you see in your walk with the Lord?
We at Walking In Truth Ministry are so blessed to say that we are enjoying the "fruit"of our labor in the many e-mails that flood in relating how people's lives are being transformed by the Bible messages that are sent out. So many write and tell how the Lord speaks to them through each message and how they are spiritually nourished, strengthened, and edified as a result. Many have remarked on how the Holy Ghost really makes His Word come alive through each message. We are so thrilled to hear it. And to Jesus we give all of the praise!
Before we forget, we want to thank all of you who had prayed for my son John and me when we were sick a couple of weeks ago. God intervened and brought us the victory over all sickness. We are going strong for the Lord as a result.
We would like to announce at this time that during this week when we are remembering the Passion of Jesus, the Bible messages that we normally send out may be sparse - simply because I will be away from the computer evangelizing the lost. If there was ever a week when we as Christians should evangelize, it is this one! I encourage all of you Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers to get out and tell the world what Jesus did for mankind on the cross. I encourage all of you Doctors, Lawyers, Investors, Secretaries, Nurses, Superintendents, Mechanics, Barbers, Beauticians, Salesmen, Managers, Housewives, etc. to tell the world why Jesus came to this earth.
Saints, this is our time! This is a time when people's focus will be on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. What distinguishes Him from other Leaders is that He has risen from the dead! No other religion can claim that truth about their Leader! We certainly can! And the reason being is because ours happens to be God Almighty in the flesh - the Christ, the Son of the Living God!
Saints, go for it! Let's tell the world Who Jesus is! The harvest is ripe, but the laborers are few. Let's not be found slothful or indifferent!
The world is crying out for answers. Look at the economy right now! Our time is short to get the Gospel out. None of us is promised tomorrow. What we do, we must do quickly. The night is coming when no man will be able to work.
Like the woman in Proverbs 31, let's not call it a day until we have finished our work - which is telling someone about Jesus.
He gave us His all, now what holds us back from giving Him our all?
At this time of the year, I am asking all of you to consider what this ministry - Walking In Truth Ministry - has done for your soul. Most of you have written at one time or another telling me how God has touched your life and continues to do so through the Bible Messages. One way that you can show your appreciation is by sending a generous gift into this ministry so that we can continue onward across this Internet.
Let's not take any blessings for granted that we have in our lives.
Since this ministry - Walking In Truth Ministry - has been a great blessing to you, please be a blessing in return by sending a financial gift our way.
We receive reports continuously telling how those who have given to this ministry received great blessings in return. Notable miracles and breakthroughs follow their giving. This is not to say that anyone tries to buy a miracle. No one gives for that reason. It is to say, however, that God's Presence and Power is in this work and, consequently, He substantially blesses all those who give here. Praise Reports abound for those who give. There is not one person who has not been blessed in a remarkable or substantial way as a result of sowing their seed into this Work of Faith. And we give God all of the praise for it!
